Gorgeous Vintage Edwardian Era Black Silk Chiffon & Satin Over Dress

Pre-1920'sThis stunning Edwardian Era sheer black silk chiffon and satin dress/overdress is in amazingly EXCELLENT condition. Has two built in yoke panels, one in silk chiffon with rows of tucks with another beneath of black satin. The wide shawl satin collar has a trim of small silk balls that are hand sewn to border (the whole dress is handsewn)with full sheer chiffon sleeves that have the most beautiful cuff of black satin that comes to a point with a trim of black silk balls that exceeds past the cuff. The cuff also has two tiny snaps to close. The way the dress closes is very interesting. There are small early snaps built into both yoke panels and continues down the front to close on the side of the wide waistband and then continues with snaps 1/3 of the way down skirt. The sheer skirt gathers at waist and has rows of tucks on hem. The choice of what to wear underneath the dress is yours..........black, red (Titanic!), gold or whatever, the look is beautiful! bust: 38" waist: 30" underarm seam to hem: 39"
