Gorgeous Victorian 1890's Heavily Beaded Black Silk Bodice Jacket Monogrammed Waist Belt

Pre-1920'sGorgeous antique Victorian 1890's bodice jacket. Very tailored, fully boned in front and back and quite small this jacket will make you wish you could go back in time to wear such a classic piece. Puffy pleated black velvet sleeves with curved elbow that tighten toward the wrist. The front is incredibly detailed with textured silk corded design and heavily beaded with tiny and larger black jet beads handsewn into fabric with brown thread. The yoke and collar are silk with black silk floral lace overlay and the collar closes in back with 2 hook & eyes. Back of jacket is all embroidered black silk cord design that meets at the center seam. Front has something like 16 right and left hook & eyes to close. Interior has silk lining with ivory silk faille interior waist strap that is embroidered "Alma Schneider". Condition is very good - EX, there is a small tear on side seam and a few tiny moth holes around neckline.
