Pre-1920'sThis gorgeous antique Victorian blouse is pure silk that is sheer black and all the stitching is hand done. Beautifully hand decorated with an applique of colorful silk embroidery that goes around collar and down the V neckline to end at waist. Front has double hook & eye closure at gathered waistline. This blouse is two toned in black and grayish green silk. The front has 3 rows of vertical tucks that go around to the back and just where the tucks end is where you see the transition to the grayish green silk and you can actually see the handstitching between the two silks. The long sleeves are loose and cuffed at an angle with scalloped black floral lace flounce trim. The blouse is cut in the back to accomodate a small bustle and has a single hook & eye on waistline. The blouse is stunning and in EX condition, there is slight discoloration in silk on waist flounce in center. bust: 36" waist: 24".
